    instead of the perverts' utopia endorsed by the great-grandparent post. A little preching and a little spanking never hurt anyone. But the scars of child abuse are never outgrown. :~(

    By the way, this is a christian nation. Settled by exiled christians who were looking for a place to escape persecution. That had nothing to do with renouncing their beliefs, which the reader can research for themselves by doing a google search for 'puritans'.
