Evangelion Live Action Movie

Rob Sollanych writes "ADV Films has just announced the production of a live action movie based on many people's favourite anime series of all time, Neon Genesis Evangelion. Special Effects will be developed by Weta Workshop, Ltd, the company that made the Lord of the Rings look so good."

    99% of the comments so far are negative.

    anyways.. it shouldn't matter if the anime is finished already, christ, MOST if not ALL stories are remakes of some sort.

    sure, it could end up completely different from the anime but does it really matter?

    romeo and julia has been done over and over again and still it's watchable in new incarnations(the 31337 version kicks ass most :)
