Transparent Screens on the Horizon?

mhesseltine writes "According to United Press, researchers in Japan are developing transparent transistors. This could bring about see-through screens like those in Minority Report. Also, I imagine would be better heads-up displays (HUDs) for vehicles, layered flat panel displays, and new methods of interfacing with information screens."

    Why don't we get the idiots off the road instead of punishing responsible people for the incompetence of others?

    I've heard enough of this bullshit "oh, now I can do 10 more things to distract me while driving." I enjoy having cool things like cellphones and LCD computers in my car. I do not use them irresponsibly. So get at the root of the fucking problem and stop trying to shift its focus.

    I'm not saying I have a solution to the problem, I'm just sick of getting punished because of others irresponsibility.
