Still more links on SCO's assorted allegations of copyright infringement. They say they're going to sue Novell. Software analysts refuse to be part of the hoax - also some good quotes from Linus here. SCO and UNIX: a Comedy of Errors. Salon has a story on SCO too, but sadly it's not available to read freely. And Wired has an old story which I think sums up the SCO claims pretty well.

    I already uninstalled Slackware linux and installed FreeBSD 4.8. Wise decision? Will FreeBSD be impacted by SCO?

    It makes me take pause when I witness a company that appearently has no ammo keep entering into so many skirmishes against esteemed and battle proven foes.

    "White trash" is synonymous with "nigger" when used to refer to "subhumans" with white skin -- although the Pc gang will have you know it's OK to insult the white race (as long as they're straight and male, and you're not an Arab).

    While I'll defend any man's right to use either expression if he really wants, I would not expect the tone of either from Torvalds. He may be a fair engineer, but he constantly lets me down whenever he opens his mouth on any other topic.
