MTV Movie Awards - Gollum's Acceptance Clip

tinderbox writes "Tolkien fansite TheOneRing.net has a Quicktime clip of Gollum - and Andy Serkis - accepting the golden popcorn for Best Visual Performance at the MTV Movie Awards. It's hysterical." No joking, this is probably the funniest acceptance speech I have ever seen. Yoda had a speech for winning "Best Fight", but it wasn't anything close to this.

If you are somehow interested by this story, I strongly urge you to snap out of the dreamworld you are living in with your puppet actors and anime fantasies. I advise you immediately take a shower, move out of your parents basement, and seek gainful employment.

Once you have taken these steps you might even find it within reason to actually consider going out on a date. Now THAT is a dreamworld you should be interested in.

Even better, archive.org has it mirrored on a super-fast server. I'm currently getting over 250K/sec on a cable modem.
