Foundstone Shoe On Other Foot
Cimmer writes "One of the premier hack shops (to pun or not to pun) gets busted for unethically ethically hacking.
After filing a lawsuit against former employee JD Glaser for supposedly jacking company source code, Foundstone gets nailed for massive internal software piracy. Tonight's entree: Foot in Mouth."

Elegy For Java
I am a Java user
and I try hard to be brave
That is a tall order
Java's foot is in the grave.
I tap at my toy keyboard
and whistle a happy tune
but keeping happy's so hard,
Java died so soon.
Each day I wake and softly sob
Nightfall finds me crying
Not only am I a zit faced slob
but Java is dying.
i thought fyodor did it on his own initiative, after the "linux chick" offered to get naked on "her" webcam, and fyodor got goatse'd
No you misunderstood. M$ (being the large, evil corporation it is) hired SDEM to troll Slashdot. SDEM's contract specifically demanded that he distract several prominent and high-profile Linux geeks. Fyodor is just one of many geeks who fell for it (who are we kidding- they all fell for it) and was several hours of nmap hacking were sucessfully diverted to posting on Slashdot and several more in the following "retribution". Ironically, Fyodor did not in fact use nmap, as one might expect. Microsoft provided several tools to him that allowed him to sneak in the backdoor that Window$ spyware provides.
