MrBounce writes "Worldwide shipments of wireless local-area network equipment increased by 120 percent in 2002 from a year ago. So who are the current market leaders in this field?"

    must you Apple fucks always make a point of this? Who the fuck cares if they included WLAN capabilities in 1999? No one was using it except rich powerusers.

    2001 was the first year that it was actually in a decent price-range and that people actually cared (broadband was fairly common and networks in your home were useful).

    In 1999 most people were still with one computer, it wasn't until 2000/2001 that people starting having at least two in their home (except for the rich/poweruser).
