Platform Evangelism
An anonymous submitter writes "James Plamondon, a former Microsoft employee is writing a book on Technological Evangelism at Microsoft. He's posted the first chapter, "Evangelism is War."
Robert Scoble, a current Microsoft Evangelist doesn't like the metaphor, but Micah Alpern is concerned Microsoft could use similar strategies against Macromedia Flash."
FUD ? :-)
Look back up at my post, now look back down, you're on the Internet. Now look back up. I'm a signature.
Macromedia's days are numbered once MS targets flash.
It's probably only a matter of time before MS decides to start targeting Adobe markets as well.
Even Linux Zealot switched to using macs,w f

There is no god
Why not just get a supported replacement?
It would cost no more than a large pizza.
It would cost much less than your next series of Microsoft upgrades.
A Pirate and a Puritan look the same on a balance sheet.
I love the fact that there's a great big Microsoft ad on this article.
Not only did Slashdot post this anti-Microsoft article to get ad hits, but the ad is from Microsoft themselves. Of course, Slashbots will choose to ignore the fact that Slashdot is corporate-owned.

God damn i'm sick of hearing about M$ this, M$ that. They are NOT a software company(software being programs that ASSIST you in your tasks). They ARE a MARKETING company that happens to also sell software(bloat, insecure,crap..).
As a marketing company, I guess all M$ is really good at is opening up their mouths to proselytize themselves, and of course buying/squashing their competition.
They were nailed as a monopoly, why are they still ruling the debate?
