The Return Of Shareware Games
An anonymous reader writes "CNN has a new column up looking at the re-emerging trend of shareware as a means to distribute games. With development prices soaring and space on retail shelves getting scarce, smaller companies like PopCap Games and GarageGames are returning to gaming's roots - and making money in the process."
It has come to my attention that Japan is still in the process of westernizing itself. While western commercialization is not quite yet as evil as Japan's corporate empires, beware of western religion. Christianity is not good. Let's take a moment to analyze the religions in question:
Buddhism = peace
Islam = 3 different types
Type 1 (Afghanistan): live in caves and throw rocks at infidels and women
Type 2 (Palestine): wake up, strap on some TNT, blow up some jews
Type 3 (Everywhere else): fund type 1s and type 2s by working in America as H1Bs and sending the money back home
Christianity = BOMBEH ALL TEH MUZZLE EMS!!111!!1
Let's take this step by step. First, let's talk about Buddhism. I mean, when's the last time one of Buddha's followers tried to push a Buddhist Bible on ya? That's right. Buddhism is one of the least intrusive religions out there. Islam and Christianity, on the other hand, can be analyzed together (as can Judaism). Basically the three Judaic religions of today (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) stem from the same violent cult that killed anybody who dared to disagree with the religion that was developed by clerics responsible for nothing except sowing and cultivating lies. The three Judaic religions of today are so similar to each other you'd think they'd get along quite well. Well, one would like to think that! Apparently little has changed between then and now. Amazingly, those three violent branches keep slaughtering each other to this day. They are much like Naruto's foolish clones produced by failed ninjutsu that attack themselves. The three evil religions *are* bastard clones that foolishly attack each other. Unfortunately, the cursed Judaic triplets are doomed to poor discipline and make the same mistakes over and over again. It's been like that for over a millenium. Unlike Naruto, the three religions have no hope. Kharma hurts like a bitch.
Originally, western culture was distrustful of Buddhism (as the Judaic religions are about any other belief system including atheism) and thus hated the Japanese. That's part of the reason why America went ahead and dropped the atomic bomb on Japan-- the Japanese weren't *real* people. They weren't Christian, so they must be barbarians. However, the West has found (much to their liking) that Buddhist passifism is the same as submission. Increasingly the west has taken advantage of the submissive Japanese people who bend over and take it up the ass. Miyazaki included. He sold his soul to the devil when he signed over the rights to his work to Disney. Now Disney executives lazily lean back in their chairs and wallow in their own filthy greed as they profit from the works produced by a genius and his fellow coworkers (who are undoubtably pushed to the limit). Today the west loves the Japanese. No wonder!
While the Japanese people have a lot going for them, please drop the awful Japanese language. It has more homophones than a gay Nokia salesman. It takes a Japanese person twice as long to say the same thing as an English speaker. The Japanese number system is frighteningly complex and scares all who attempt to learn it. Not to mention that the written Japanese language has evolved so much in the past decade in an attempt to fix some of its numerous problems that an old-timer would have a hard time understanding anything a whipper-snapper might write today. It's true that Mandarin's spoken form is much more efficient than English. I would recommend Mandarin if it weren't for the pervasive use of the difficult to learn hanji characters that are infamous for having doomed the Chinese to low literacy rates.
