Comdex Pursues Edification Rather Than Entertainment

XarsonX writes "Infoworld has an article talking about some of the changes coming to Comdex this year. Amongst other things, a $50 price tag for uninvited attendants, and less free gear handed out. Is it still possible to get enough free vendor-wear to fill your entire wardrobe?"

    Excuse me but doesn't Comdex suck nowadays? They really think I am going to $50 to go see a bunch of dogwashers selling their warez, hell I would rather pay $50 to go visit a linux fanboy.

    They shouldn't let any Linux related people or businesses attend because they stole source code from SCO. The legal cloud over linux should preclude any linux people from attending. Perhaps they should be locked at away as material witnesses since linux is associated with islamic terrorism and paedophilia.
