Mozilla 1.4 RC3 Is Out

zzxc writes "Mozillazine reports that the third release candidate for Mozilla 1.4 has been released. It is available for download from mozilla.org. Testing is encouraged to fix any bugs before the final release. No new features have been added to this release, though many bugs have been fixed. For more information, see the release notes."

    It's great that people invest so much time into making an alternative browser to IE. I wish that a better browser actually existed. However, the fact still remains that Mozilla is slow and bloated.

    No one has come close to challenging IE.

    Mozilla=crap.

    Phoenix was a step in the right direction but is itself becoming bloated. Therefore it=crap.

    Opera? Crap as well.

    Perhaps if Apple deigned to port Safari to x86 we might have a contender. Until then IE rules over all.

    FYI, the Sun Newspaper Online has a very informative article about this release in its Sci/Tech section. It compares Mozilla with IE and Safari and makes some good points about standard compliance.

    Fact: Linux is the OS of choice for Islamic terrorists. Dept of Homeland Security will soon be shutting down linux distributors and linux kernel hackers for providing material support to Linux using Al-Qaeda terrorists. I wonder how Torvalds will like Camp X-ray, Gitmo.
