Does Google = God?

lgreco writes "In an op/ed for the NYT, Thomas Friedman wonders "Is Google God?" Interesting article that disseminates things mostly known to and hopefully well understood by the Slashdot readership. The fact that such commentary made it to the NYT op/ed pages is remarkable." It's the NYT, so a free registration is required.

The author of this fluff would do well to recall Berosus, and Elijah.

"I am The Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me."

"You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I The Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate Me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love Me and keep My Commandments."

Google is indeed a useful invention - but it is not God, nor indeed the gate to God.

Its a joke that such a simpleton is considered an authority on global issues by the american media. Could it be because he is jewish? I am SICK of having these mediocrities shoved down oyr throats by the jew-dominated media.
