Protecting Cities from Hijacked Planes

All you are showing is a bit of ignorance about their culture and assuming that they share your values. They don't. Their value system encourages them to treat us (Western countries) like trash. They have an obligation, according to that value system, to kill us off if they can. It as much a part of their social background as the Christian Golden Rule is to ours. Try visiting a Muslim country some time. It is a real eye opener.

While this technology is theoretically interesting, it won't save the victims of the 9/11 FTC disaster. And the terrorists have been subdued--you only have to turn on CNN and see that Iraq is now safely under American (to say nothing of Christian) control.

You can say most people who call themselves Muslim are decent people but the facts stand for themselves. The "religion" is not good and perverts people minds. Violence is the only thing begat by Islam. Christianity, Judaism, Daoism, Hinduism, Buddhism - these religions all have led to cultures that have had some periods where there was not war. Muslims cannot claim the same. There has never been a Muslim country that has been at peace for a significant period of time and has not been agressive towards other nations. Face facts liberal scum.
You are so underqualified to lecture me it's sad. You just bite right into what the television news tells you. When 9/11 happened, the talking heads kept saying that most Muslims are peace loving. When the DC snipers were killing people last summer, the TV news would not stop saying that it's got to be a white male - racial profiling is generally accepted when it goes against white males. Bogus. Over riding such a system is not nearly as dangerous as you'd think. If multiple air traffic controllers are required to override the system from the ground, there's virtually ZERO chance of a repeat of 9/11. In order for a plane to get clearence, they would need to communicate with the air traffic controllers, which is something that never happenned on 9/11. Two mumbled Arabic words over the comm channel was enough to tell air traffic controllers what was happenning on the plane, and unless Bob the pilot and Bill the Co-pilot have intentions about suicide, I'm not buying your ridiculous situation.
People will always say this or that doesn't work. A perfect example is the re-enforced cockpit doors. The truth of the matter is that multiple levels of security WORK. Re-enforce the cockpit + soft walls + ground-based autopilot is an excellent idea and their existence themself is a deterrent for terrorists (lets use the proper term: Muslims) to even try.
Yeah, and the white Christians of today fully support the Crusades and have never apologized for them and are still doing the same thing.

If I'm Racist, then so was America when it went to war with the "Japanese" or the "Germans" during WWII. We all know there were Japanese and German Americans living in the country.
So as to suggest that the vast majority of the population of Islam does not view this as a war with America, is simply naive and politically correct. They do. Therefore, we're at war with "Muslims" because it is the only common denominator amongst everyone who runs into a Mall in Jerusalem with TNT vests or crashes planes into buildings.
