GPL-Licensed QCAD Ported to Mac OS X

AlwaysTimeForCoffee writes "QCad, a free open-source 2D CAD system for Linux, various Unices and Windows, from RibbonSoft, has been ported to a native OS X version by Gilbert Duivesteijn. A screenshot of the OS X version can be found here. Qcad is a light, GPL'd version of the commercial available CAM Expert. It truely is an outstanding program and has earned 5 out of 5 Penguins on Tucow's Linuxberg and IceWalker review. With this native OS X release, a commercial quality CAD system has been made available to the Apple community."

    Christ, slashdot seems to be full of shit these days. And that's not even counting the comments!

    Press releases, stories where nobody has anything to say (we all hate spam, we all hate SCO, I'm gonna patent patenting stuff, etc, end of story)... and the one or 2 times there is an interesting web site, the story consists of people asking for mirrors, making stupid statements indicating they hadn't read the fucking article, etc.

    I am a homosexual. I bought an Apple computer because of its well earned reputation for being "the" gay computer. Since I have become an Apple owner, I have been exposed to a whole new world of gay friends. It is really a pleasure to meet and compute with other homos such as myself. I plan on using my new Apple computer as a way to entice and recruit young schoolboys into the homosexual lifestyle; it would be so helpful if you could produce more software which would appeal to young boys.
