Gamers Aren't (Always) Geeks

Roughly two-thirds of college students play video games, but the image of a nerdy guy who spends all day in a dimly lit room blowing up computer-generated bad guys is off base, according to a new study.     Uh, excuse me .. doesn't half the fun of going to movies exist in hanging out and TALKING FACE to FACE with friends? Communication is 90% NON-VERBAL. You don't get that dynamic "chatting online" during a freakin' game. It's impossible.

    This leads to closet/anti-social behaviour and anti-community bents that are so prevelant in our fractured society. When's the last time anyone had a "block party?"
