    It seems to me, if you want to cover everything, you would put a debian package inside a RPM.

    Why? I have no clue, but you could if you wanted all the features. Kind of like putting a roll bar into a SUV, so that you can start amature racing.

    First time I've ever seen guys compare packages and size doesn't seem to matter.

    Gentoo is bad for the environment, since a computer uses more power when the processor is at work.

    This means that using Gentoo is aggravating our problems with long-term storage of nuclear waste as well as introducing fossile carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

    Additionally, source code is generally larger than the equivalent binaries, so it is a waste of bandwidth to download Gentoo, which also is a waste of energy in the long run.

    So, for the sake of our children, from whom we borrow the earth, use Debian GNU/Linux. :-)

    Yea! I totaly agree with the above poster. For instance, the first thing I do when I sit down to use a computer is take apart the keyboard with a screwdriver. You can never trust that someone hasn't installed a keylogger.

    Every time I've bought a car I bring a socket wrench set with me and tear apart the engine right there on the dealership floor. If I didn't how could I know that Al Queda hasn't set me up to be a pawn!?! Not checking your equipment like this is tantamount to supporting terrorists.
