    Those who think [intel/ppc/amd] chips are the fastest and overall best processors don't care about embedded processors.
    Embedded processors aren't marketed to the general population so there is really no point in debunking myths about general microprocessors using them.
    For those in a position to select one of these embedded processors, they already know all of this.
    So who is this article for? the average joe sixpack who doesn't care? or the engineer who already knows it? or what?

    Most people don't realize how many microprocessors help them during the day.
