Don't confuse them with the facts.
They want to live in their little mac world, where Apple is the heroic figure fighting against the evil M$.
The reality of the siuation is that they are both just corporations that are looking out for their shareholders. This is exactly what they should be doing. Apple needs to control the hardware to sell hardware. Microsoft needs to control file formats to sell software.
