Not another one of you people. Despite your fellow "sites" posters paranoid claims, this is not evidence of the US turning into a police state. The stupid kids were loitering in the parking lot on private property and the owner called the police to take care of it.
Some of the stupid kids thought that they could avoid this by rushing into the store to buy some junk the second the police arrived. The police were wise to this crap and ended up catching them.
While some innocents got caught in the process, I say the police handled the matter correctly.
Would you mind it if a bunch of slashdoters came over and slashdoted your private property? Would you let us off if we ran over to buy something from you the second we saw the police?
Hopefully this taught the kids a lesson, but I doubt it. Too bad about the cops though.
