Give me a break. She was in an accident. Well, you know what? Entropy happens. Boo-hoo. Other people get into accidents. Some die. I've had friends die in car accidents: one six months after high school graduation (single car accident, no drugs or alcohol involved), another a year after his only child was born (truck made improper turn across his lane and smashed into his wife's car head-on, no drugs or alcohol involved).
Honestly, since Roe vs. Wade, there is no value to her life or many other unaffordable sink holes in the States. You only have "value" if someone "cares": If you *want* the baby it is a baby, if you *do not want* the baby it is an embryo, fetus or life-threatening growth to be sucked into a sink (surgical procedure) for a small fee paid to a "doctor". Do you morn for the child lost to SIDS? What about still-birth? A miscarriage? Of course you do. That's the socially acceptable and humanly dignified reaction. But an abortion? No, that was the "woman's choice". See?
Value of human life is no longer intrinsic, contrary to principles of natural law that lay the foundation for American doctrine. There is nothing "enlightened" about abortion and the thinking that supports it. It is undeniab and inherent barbarism.
Why do we piss away billions in support of the unproductive when there are productive persons who have needs as well. Even the basics like reading skills are threatened.
My father was a dementia patient. Son of share-croppers, a decorated veteran, and practical engineer he loathed his demented state, he did not want to be a burden. In the last year (2002) of his life he was on sixteen medications, from time to time he couldn't remember things that had happened *that day* and was sometimes given to halluciations. It wasn't clear if this was as a result of the medications or the dementia. When in-home-care nurses did their stop-ins after each hospital stay they all concluded, "he's doing fine, there's no reason for continued visits."
He was a DNR, he was an organ donor.
No one came for the organs. W-A-S-T-E.
"Medicine" is a scam. It was about pushing drugs no matter how fogged up the cocktail makes the patient. They didn't care about him nor his family who took care of him. Explanations for treatment were vague if at all accessible, their solution to family concerns about "controlling the patient" were "call the police if he gets out of hand".
Despite his total incontenance (#1 & #2) his catheter was taken away let he develop an infection, we were criticized for our use of adult diapers. It was all about business and their vitae.
What's "radical" about letter Andrea lay around anyway? Nothing. Evidently her body did all the work.
Just what are the stats on how many people change their lifestyles after a bypass? Does it even matter since 1/3 of them develop mental problems (see the past issue of Scientific American for a recent piece on the issue). Honestly now, why do we need to "save" people who are hell bent on killing themselves anyway? Like smokers who get lung cancer. Hmm?
Whatever happened to accepting your own damn risks instead of many me and my grand-nephews pay for it in higher taxes, higher insurance premiums, higher co-pays and higher drug costs? If I won't need a bypass or costly "procedure" for taking care of myself why should I be burdened with these other lard-eating asshole's incurred costs just because they want to be able to enjoy another 5 years of beer and BK Whoppers?
I'm not an organ donor and have no plan to become one. Screw you bastards, I'm going to need all I am in Hell.
