Technical Glitches Plague BuyMusic.com
An anonymous reader submits: "Despite its much larger target market, BuyMusic.com does not seem to be the runaway success that Apple's iTunes Music Store was. USA Today is reporting that customers have experienced technical glitches that prevent them from playing their purchases. Another customer reports that the BuyMusic tech support does little more than say 'Sorry, but that's YOUR problem.' Hmmm...We've got a great idea for distributing music and we can get it to market before anyone else. Which platform should we target? The one with less than 2.5% market penetration or the platform with over 95% market penetration?

This is exactly what most people do when they buy anything. It may seem like a $.79 song wouldn't matter, but it does, and any careful consumer is smart enough to take some time and make sure they're buying what they want to be buying. The fact that dozens of people are actually happy and satisfied with the service is proof that they researched what they are getting -- and that you are the idiot for insinuating otherwise!
BuyMusic is new to this market, is a good company, and will continue to succeed -- especially as their extensive music catalog, competitive prices, and leadership in technology innovation continues to mature and outpace BuyMusic's online rivals!
