Apparently, this motherboard has a feature called 'Secure IDE,' which is marketing-speak for hardware-based encryption ... ABIT goes on to claim that 'Secure IDE' 'will keep government supercomputers busy for weeks and will keep the RIAA away from your Kazaa files.' Pretty bold claims for a motherboard maker ..."

For anyone inclined to make a SCO joke, one word: don't. However, if you are so inclined and feel the desire to piss everyone off, do it beneath this thread. SCO jokes are so old now, and it is a shame that there are still 4 mods willing to waste points on them. Posting such jokes is the worst form of karma whoring in my book.

If you agree with my point, please post below saying as much so that we can show these lame jokers that they need to quit.

Hopefully this post will get modded down to -5, Lame so no one has to read the jokes.

ABIT gets sued for violating SCO's IP? I mean, SCO did invent the motherboard and all.

What's this? Someone who not only read the article, but looked for answers before spouting off? Incredible. I'd say Mod parent up, but it's already at 5. Congratulations, you are proof that the "system" sometimes works!
