I have submitted a story regarding an old version of Perl being resurrected: namely, Perl 1.0. This story has been accepted. I'm informing you in advance so that you may prepare karma whoring comments for the story, which should be on the front page in just a few hours. It's not very substantial, and the linked "article" just has a quote from a poem and a link to the download, so you won't be able to karma whore by reposting those. If you want a quick upmod, try making vague references to Perl's foibles or it's early similarity to awk.

I saw Jurassic Park II tripping on acid. Thrilling? Exciting? Scary? No, it seemed like a slapstick comedy. Hilarious. Best part of the movie was the beginning and end with the helicopter flying over the ocean. Oh the waves! They should make whole movies like that. Oh yeah.. Imax =)

Actually, the interesting thing about the statement is that they say "which makes you just as responsible if you had downloaded the movie", when it's distributing the movie that is the real crime, not downloading it.
