Photoshop in Linux Thanks to Disney
miladus writes "eWeek
reports that Walt Disney's feature animation unit (along with 2 other
unnamed studios) are using Adobe's Photoshop in Linux. They use the Wine emulator
to run the software and the 3 studios 'not known as team players, all
three agreed that a project that would benefit the entire open-source
community while delivering a technology they needed--was worth their cooperation'."
Why doesn't Slashdot respect open standards and produce valid HTML?
And fuck you too, Taco.
haha.. its fools like you that cause people to troll here on Slashdot. You gave that troll exactly the pissed-off response he wanted (although with Ogg Vorbis thing was obvious humor and made it less of a troll).
In short, you're a dumbass.
You mother uses Windows, and she sucks, so what's your point?
- expand the canvas so that nothing gets cropped out during the rotation, then
- invoke the rotation command, then
- re-crop so that no extra canvas remains
I'm kind of curious as to how such a simple operation as a rotation could have been implemented so counterintuitively for so long. (Please, no "quite whining and do it yourself" posts, I'm busy with other things and I would have done it right the first time anyway).- First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then ???, then profit.
What, you got nothing better to do than put Windows down, you piece of garbage?
You got nothing to do?
Go eat a sausage and choke on it.
Get trichinosis.
If linux is supposed to be so awesome then why does disney need to emulate windows in order to get their software to work? The reason: linux sucks (thats why adobe isn't porting photoshop over to linux) and the GIMP also sucks otherwise they would use that instead. Everyone who uses linux is a luser and a terrorist and unpatriotic.
Microsoft rocks!!!!!!
Swing and a miss. You fail it, buddy. Nice try covering up though.
