    I just heard some sad news on talk radio - Israeli-born actress Natalie Portman was killed in a tragic grits-related accident this morning. There weren't any more details. I'm sure everyone in the Slashdot community will miss her - even if you didn't enjoy her work, there's no denying her contributions to geek culture. Truly an American icon.

    That is incredibly relevant, I am appalled! They rejected my story on how shellac is made. Is there no end?
