Sinclair's Answer To The Segway

slumos writes "BBC News Online is reporting on Sir Clive Sinclair's reaction to the Segway. The British inventor thinks it's fine for factories, but not for crowded streets, and he's even planning some competition in the form of a top-secret follow-up to the Sinclair C5."

    Come on people, can't you see...

    Don't be fooled by the eloquent BS that the robot spewed out on Leno. The Terminator running for governor of California is part of SkyNet's diabolical plan to infiltrate our human political system in order to take it over. We need someone to cut the power to the state, before it's too late! And who else has a proven ability to cut electrical power to vast geographical regions besides Greyout Dufus!!

    Why would I pay to be advertised to? I usually give donations because I either think someone deserves it or a cause needs it. This guy does not deserve a pound for telling me about his invention.

    I just heard some sad news on talk radio - Horror/Sci Fi writer Stephen King was found dead in his Maine home this morning. There weren't any more details. I'm sure everyone in the Slashdot community will miss him - even if you didn't enjoy his work, there's no denying his contributions to popular culture. Truly an American icon.

    everytime i visit the slashdot.org website i nearly get a heart-attack because i think another pixel on my LCD went to pixel-heaven!!!

    if you need it for the layout, can't you make it black, so i can't see it?
