SpaceShipOne Flight Test

Soft writes "Scaled Composites' entry for the X-Prize, the SpaceShipOne, has had a successful first (unpowered) flight test. The spacecraft was dropped from the White Knight carrier aircraft at 47,000 ft (14 km) and 105 kt (194 km/h, 120 mph) and touched down after a 1.1-hour glide at Mojave airport. Photos are available."

    Stop'em! Even if it means forcing entire nations into taking action! I for one am sick of the increasingly hot summers here in Europe. It is time America's refusal to work on this global problem is addressed. Refusing to curb the CO2 emissions should be considered as a crime against the humanity. Read more:

    That's what happens when you let women out of the kitchen and they start taking over managerial positions. Look what the world has come to. Think, consider, design, re-design, test, blah blah blah. It's no wonder you can't get anything done anymore. Back when it was a man's world accomplishments were made. Technology moved forward. Men got things done.
