Participatory Journalism

J.D. Lasica has written a three-part series on participatory journalism. He put a lot of emphasis on video netcasting, which I think has a lot of years to go before it's actually important in any sense due to the slow growth of broadband in the U.S., but overall it's a good analysis of trends in interactivity.

I just heard sad news on the radio - Gregory Hines was found dead in his Los Angeles home this morning. There weren't any more details - it was just a little news blurb. I'm sure the nigger tap dancing community will miss him; even if you didn't like his his role on Will and Grace or The Gregory Hines Show, there's no denying his contribution to nigger tap dancing. Truly another dead nigger.
