In this interview he discusses his view of the future of Python and the Open Source community and programming languages in general.     Lisp programmers scare me. Someone mentions a feature that lisp has had for a few years, and invariable some lisp guy comments on how it's the future! switch now! Look at all the babes I attract with my Lisp skillz!

    Why is everybody so intent on rewriting smalltalk and lisp?

    Because they get embarrassed trying to make smalltalk with a lisp.
