Linux Corporate Influence: Boon or Bane?
Mark Tobenkin writes "Are corporations exploiting the Open Source community? The Linux Public Broadcasting Network has video interviews with Ian Murdock (of Progeny and Debian fame), Martin Roesch (author of Snort), Jeremey White (CEO of CodeWeavers), Bradley Kuhn (FSF), Mike Balma (Linux Business Strategist for HP) and others on the evolving OSS business models. The interviews center around whether integration with proprietary products endangers the Open Source effort or increases consumers' freedom to choose."
I FAIL IT!
Out of curiosity, Mr. Fish, what is your real /. handle? The one you post with when you post serious comments?
If I use Linux, am I a bad person?
Wait, are you saying that's not his version of a serious comment?
Well, IANAP, but it sounds like pure id to me. I want to see the Jekyll to his Hyde. I bet it's at karma cap and he uses Mr. Fish to let off, um, steam.
thx u noob
Can't you read the sign? It clearly says:
DO NOT RAPE THE N00BS!
I never met the man, but Balma makes me think Ballmer, and I really don't like Steve Ballmer. In fact, I'm experiencing a growing distaste for all Steves because of the association. I would humbly suggest Mr. Balma change his last name to something less offensive, possibly Hitler.
Note, I'm not the penis fish. Though, I've got two accounts. I've got a Ph.D., i'm witty and insightful, but man sometimes it's a hell of a lot of fun to write some hilarious troll that pisses off 2000 people. To each his own.
