Wycliffe writes "New Scientist has an article about a silent pump for water-cooled PCs. The system, developed by a Californian start-up company, aims to silently solve the problem that the faster chips get, the hotter they become."

    You can also use it for stealth pr0n downloads, late at night, so mom and dad can't hear. Be careful not to hit anything with your elbow while wanking however.

    JSIV waterpumps use a new sucking technology, patented as "J.S.I.V.", in order to achieve a quiet flow of water.

    This is done by both pushing and sucking the water. There is a louder sound when this thing starts up, but once it is running it is very quiet.

    Well done, and only a little more expensive than a single pump system.
