Blaster Writer Caught
Henry V .009 writes "The FBI will be arresting an 18 year-old in connection with MS Blaster, reports The Washington Post." According to the article, the teen was witnessed testing the worm, and then turned in by a bystander. It's also worth noting that this is merely one of the Blaster variations. Hope whoever it was had fun, because a world of pain is waiting in store now.

Personally i refuse to use msn messenger on principle. A couple of years ago, noone used it atall, everyone used yahoo, aim or icq.. ms has been using ie, and later xp to ram this crap down people`s throats in their ongoing effort to control all aspects of the computing industry. Aside from the fact that msn has had more security issues than those other services put together, and i seem to remember not so long ago hearing about a week (yes, a whole week) of downtime.

For all those in the U.S. who wanted a war: Was killing Arabs as satisfying as you thought it would be? Are you happy with the cost? Is $1,000 per second and $4 billion per month okay with you? Did you have no other plans for the money that comes out of your pocket?
The U.S. has a long history of aggression in the Middle East. But when Arabs also decide that aggression is a way to solve problems, is that totally different? Should Arabs be happy to be killed by such superiour people as Americans? Should they be grateful that the Americans, who believe they know what is right for the world, are forcing them to learn American political convictions?
Got a few minutes of access here with a cellphone. This is completely wrong. All I did was examine the Blaster worm and make a few changes. My changes got released into the wild, and now I'm going to jail for it. My parents are trying to get a lawyer; I think that's my only hope.
I'm not the one who wrote the Blaster worm. My variant only affected a few computers, and never would have done that if the Blaster worm didn't exist. This is not my fault, but they're making me take the blame for everything this worm has done.
How are we ever going to advance as a society if we keep penalizing people for just trying to learn how code works?
