CCIA Urges Dept. of Homeland Security to Avoid Microsoft
An anonymous reader writes "The Inquirer has posted an article reporting that the Computer and Communications Industry Association (CCIA) has urged the US Department of Homeland Security, in an open letter to Tom Ridge, secretary of the department, to avoid using Microsoft software because Microsoft's software is 'riddled with obvious and easily exploited vulnerabilities.'"

I love Linux but if everyone used Linux day in and day out We would be finding a lot more security flaws in it also. Be glad your grandmother isn't using SUSE or RH. Do you really want to go over to your neighbors house and tell them why that 10 dollar modem (winmodem) doesn't work. blah blah... Just be glad everyone isn't using it. I hate this s*h*i*t linux is becoming such a yuppie thing. It's starting to make Mac OS look like the OS. I'm not even talking about MacOS 10 either more like 8,9....
