Self-Parking Car Available In Japan
sinjayde writes "Yahoo!/Reuters is reporting that Toyota has released a car for sale in Japan that is able to park itself: 'Toyota's new hybrid gasoline-electric Prius sedan uses electrically operated power steering and sensors that help guide the car when reversing into parking spaces.'" No need to rely on the reverse parking formula anymore?
Imagine a beowulf cluster of these
It has come to my attention that you completely inhale the pastes in crust. Read on for more about this fascinating topic.
The world went into shock a few weeks ago when goatse.info reported the results of a study which concluded that inhaling paste is a very dangerous pastime, one that no one is advised to take up. Eventually, everyone adapted to the new state of affairs and began inhaling other things. Almost everyone, that is. But not you! According to my records, you still inhale paste!
Why?! What the fuck is wrong with you?!
You moron, you idiot, you imbecile, you gay nigger ! Arg! You make me so fucking sick! FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU.
I read about this yesterday! And some of you are actually paying for this stuff?
does it run Linux?
I am 19 and I also refuse to drive an automatic. most automatics get worse gas milage and less power to the tires(engines are the same but more power loss in the transmition.) but I do agree with you most people my age would destroy a manual in less than an hour just because they dont know how to drive one *Cough* my Sister *cough* :)
Who in their right mind would mod that up instead of checking the content first?
This reminds me of a troll that would post an informative URL, let it get modded to +5, then as the webmaster change the webpage pointed to by the URL to the GOATSE man and back and forth to fool moderators and especialy alienate slashdot's readers.
This is dispicable! Slashcode should at-least register a checksum so a warning could be placed on the forum if a webpage is modified, or at-least check for the GOATSE man with some good Optical Picture Recognition (OPR).
Let me have an hour with your sister.
I really hate Dan Patrick.
The parent doesn't even contain any links. What the hell are you talking about?
Imagine it was running SCO
That will be $699 to park
All your car is ours

"How many people do you know that cannot drive a manual transmission car? Probably about 80%. "
Which orifice did you pull that number out of?
"Are people actually smarter now?"
Yes. Broader knowledge of history, math, science, you name it. It was what, 20 years ago, when the average Joe thought travelling at light speed meant getting to another star within hours.
"When you say "do a lot more" what exactly does this mean? Time spent on the computer? Useless chatting on cellphones simply 'cause you can? Pretending to be busy? "
Working. Pursuing interests/hobbies. Creating. You name it.
"Doing more" and being more effective are two different (but not necessarily mutually exclusive) things."
And...? It's hard to 'kill time' these days without doing something useful. Like playing games? Today you have the opportunity to add to those games. That's how things like Q3F came about. Like chatting on the net? These days you have can develop your own audience to listen to you. Betcha Jerry Seinfeld would have liked to have had that.
"Derp de derp."
Does 75% sound more attractive to you (percentage of drivers that know how to drive a manual transmission)? Yup, right out of my ass.
You appear to be coming from a leisure point of view and are oblivious as to what is going on in the real world.
Similar to the occasional "Where's my flying car?" posts, wasn't technology supposed to make life easier and give us all more time for creative/family pursuits?
Is this happening/any sign of it happening anytime soon? Or are people "working" harder and longer than ever before?
