RIAA Prepares Legal Blitz Against Filesharers
Sayonara writes "The RIAA are now well and truly gathering their forces for a financial onslaught on file sharers in the US, with a "fear and awe" campaign targetting college and high school students in particular. The strategy can be reduced to 'We should really charge you $150,000 per song you have downloaded. Pay us $50,000 now, and we'll say no more about it.' In a related article, the BBC describes how the netizen known as 'nycfashiongirl' is now attempting to delay the RIAA's case against her by claiming their investigation of her online activities was illegal. The RIAA has dismissed these arguments as 'shallow.'"
follow the trends, when Americans are attacked they always fight back, they never just give up, it didnt happen during the Tea Party in Boston, it didnt happen on 911, why would it happen now?
Sorry to get OT, but how can you endorse these views and support a big-government tax-and-spend liberal like Howard Dean in you sig? If anything, these views are much closer to libertarian.
because if the lefties start dividing the vote again GW friggin Bush will get his ass re-elected!
Because my option is Big Gov with Dean, or even bigger Gov with Bush.
We dont have any conservatives running for office right now.
Also unlike Bush, Dean is actually intelligent, So this is the choice of the lessor of two evils.
Third, Big Gov, or big Corporations, its the same result in the end, giving the RIAA more power and supporting big business = big corporate government.
Bush wants a corporate controlled government while
Dean wants a democracy.
This is not about liberal vs conservative, because there are no conservatives running, you know Bush isnt, gov is bigger under Bush than it has ever been, Bush has spent us into a deficit, Bush supports corporate welfare.
IF you fear Big Gov vote Bush out,if Dean is the one most likely to get Bush out, well then vote for Dean you fool.
Its all about getting the current trash out.

You are a smart guy. You explained PERFECTLY.
Can we all join forces for once, left and right and vote Bush out? We know Bush is not a conservative or a liberal so hes pissing off both sides here. He spends way too much money, and he cuts social programs at the same time.
Dean is the most electable of the people running, hes a moderate, meaning no matter what side you are on, you can at least admit Dean would be better than Bush.
I dont support Dean on everything, hes alittle bit too fiscally conservative, but thats what our country needs right now after Bush wasted all our money.
