Myst Online Trailer

Allaran writes "The latest installment in the Myst story, an online experience entitled URU: Ages of Myst, is ramping up to its release. This has been up and coming for some time, but a trailer (Warning:20MB) [BitTorrent link via GameTab] has just been released, made entirely from within the game engine. Apparently, there is a significant offline game that can be played, with the option to subscribe as well."

    For real MMOG fun try Starcon2. Toys for Bob will live forever in my heart as kings amount men. Myst will remind me that waiting for computers to pull up a static image off a 2x CD-Rom is dumb. Manhole was a better game than Myst anyway.

    only five screenshots, and really, they look horrible. not a good sign if that's all they can do.

    and love those avatars. could they have made them look more wooden than that? what a great online game: "let's take the corpse of myst and fill it with the suburbanites you were avoiding."

    sorry, i'm disappointed. i'll check the trailer when it resurfaces from /.ing.
