unless you're working at google or some ubercool research firm, chances are any "high tech job" just boils down to being a technician for lousy managers, or worse yet, a lousy manager yourself.
Which is all fine and dandy, but why bother doing it for other's people profit?
A few weeks ago someone posted a story saying how there is money to be made in freelance tech support, and it' all true!
I'm in Italy and i found a way to start my business online for just 20 bucks a month... and now i am my own boss, and make more than i did at my previous job.
In short... forget about salaries and start making your own fees! (not to mention you get to tax deduct your next athlon!!!)
