Massachusetts Adopts Open Standards Strategy
prostoalex writes "The state of Massachusetts at a meeting of state information officers adopted a broad-based strategy to move to open standards. The strategy does involve Linux among other open standard solutions, while moving away from Microsoft-based platforms is one of the decisions. State Administration and Finance Secretary Eric Kriss insisted that decision was made on technical grounds and had nothing to do with antitrust investigation of Microsoft by the state of Massachusetts."
It's friday night!
Go out!
Contains the word asskiser.
Massachussetts has one of the most glorious and patriotic histories of all states in the nation.
If anyone is unamerican it is you confederate hicks down in the southlands.
We should have just let you slave owning barbarians leave. Then the terrorists would be bombing you and your own goofball president instead of harassing us for the freaks you elect.
By inspection we may determine that there are many more fags than niggers. To determine how many fags we will assign to each nigger, we might find the sum total fags and divide that number by the number of niggers present. This result we would call the quotient and it would represent the number of fags F there are per niggers N groups. Additionally we may easily come to the conclusion that the number of sweaty fag balls B is a function of F, as there are two balls per fag. Thus, B(f) = 2f.
Critical Thinking: what important aspect of this problem has heretofore gone unmentioned? Hint: it isn't whether they run Linux. Math hats on and good luck, mathketeers!
This is not a troll... it is posted by an unemployed American. Microsoft is one of the few American companies doing extremely well and hiring for more positions in America ... as opposed to other tech companies in America that are laying off workers here and employing more abroad. Why is our government kneecapping an American success story, and a company that cares about American workers? Tech will go down the same route as the other American success story - the detroit car makers.
Who cares about the future economy? The point is the present economy was great and we werent in a deficit, I could care less if we have a million bubbles one after the other, we'd all be living better living in the bubble than living in reality.
If you use Linux, please help development of Autopac
You're on my shitlist now. Have fun while you go down, and enjoy the view.

*speechless*
Sometimes I wonder what everyone who rushes to bash Bush would be saying if Gore was in office as the bubble burst. Its not like he could have prevented it, with stuff like Enron well enroute to blowing up.
I'm just glad we had a guy in office that had the fortitude to take the fight over there. Contrary to what some prominent Democrats have been complaining about recently, I think its a good thing Iraq has become a hornet's nest of terrorism. Better there than here. This country is as fundamentally unprepared to defend itself locally as most people here would agree Windows is fundamentally insecure by design. Both started development "unnetworked". But those oceans protect us no more, and our society just isn't designed to cope with this threat.
