Yahoo Restored in Some IM Clients

Sparks23 writes "Third-party instant messaging clients have begun to reconnect to Yahoo. While the authorization scheme has not been completely decoded -- expect some bumps -- Gaim and Trillian have both partially restored connectivity. Gaim has the new authorization scheme in CVS and their new 0.70 release, and Cerulean has made a beta patch available for Trillian Pro 2.0; consider both patches 'beta' for the moment."

    Talking about basic security, open ports and IM future, Eyeball networks developed something lovely called anyfirewall(TM) technology - you can find more about it at their site [eyeballchat.com] - All I wanna say is that it just passed evey firewall setup i tested it "against" (meaning i was trying to connect and transfer with active fw on one oro both sides) with audio+video+files without a tear. That kicked any other IM proggy or clone i've tried so far in the ass, by being actually able to reach out... something i wasnt used to get that easily with my severe locks. Dope 1!
