South Korea Jumps To Open Source Software

mormop writes "Following on from the news that a far-eastern Linux distro is on the way, silicon.com is carrying news that South Korea is switching $300,000,000 worth of PCs to Open Source Software. The only question now is will Steve Ballmer be capable of covering the sort of distance needed to pull back all these switching governments before collapsing with exhaustion, or is he en route for the Air Miles record?"

    I love Korean porn, especially the bukkake. Granted, it's nothing like the Japanese, but it's surely good enough! Gotta love those 12-year old girls (and boys!).... mmmm.

    But open source is insecure, because it means hackers (most hackers are IT professionals who know how to steal hotmail passwords using warez) can see the actual source code (like neo when he starts trinitys heart) and that means they can hack the protocols. Korea is clearly making a bad decision, and will get nuked into a big crater if they keep making stupid moves.

    Windows 2000, default install, inpenetrable (apart from a few remote root rpc bugs).
