Data Recovery - Put to the Test
Kurtis Kronk @TheTechLounge writes "Today we get a close look at perhaps the leader of this industry, ACR Data Recovery. I worked closely with Doug Roberts of ACR to find the answers to questions you might ask. Not only did I ask Doug an array of questions, I also received a sample of their Media Tools Professional 2003 to see for myself if it really works, and moreover, how well. Check out this article for the full story."

Why is this funny? It's just the same old tired slashbullshit like the beowulf cluster and that fucking Profit! crap. Yes, we no you look at porn. You're a very very sad person. You don't need to tell us everytime there's a goddamn article about data backup or filesharing.
1. Nobody cares about your disturbingly large porn collection.
2. You're a dick.
3. I hate you.
4. Get a life.
5. Go to hell.
6. ???
7. Profit!
Data recovery puts YOU to test.
This is amazing, sir. But do tell me, how do you keep it from slipping in?
Hi,
This is Kurtis from TheTechLounge. I wrote the article.
We refer to them as our SPONSOR because they gave us the software we used... Otherwise it wouldn't say sponsor. In no way whatsoerver was this a self-promo, I merely wanted to expose the fact that there are options out there if you have lost your data.
In many cases, data is indeed recovered because someone was trying to 'cover something up,' but I didn't focus on that aspect. I wanted to concentrate more on the ability to recover vital data once you have lost it.
I made a point of asking Doug a lot of questions about selecting a data recovery company if you are looking to recover your data and I think they are all great tips. Don't go with anyone that is too cheap, don't go with people that promise bogus stuff etc...
Anyway, I just want to make it clear that this was in no way an infomercial and from my testing I have found this to be an extremely effective method of recovering data (with Media Tools Pro...).
If you have more feedback on the article, please post on our forum and we will respond there.
