Same thing happened to me in college (except we dated for 6+mos vs. hook-up). It hurt. Bad. For months. I graduated and got past it. I got married to a very attractive woman, and we have a beautiful daughter and life together. Don't sweat it. You'll be fine.

Holy Christ that sucks. I know exactly what you're going through; I'm currently in the process of converting my best friend to my lover.
