Shrek 2 Trailer Released

ParticleMan911 writes "The Shrek 2 movie trailer (other formats) has finally been released by Dreamworks. Apparently Dreamworks has a goal to release 2-3 animated movies every year through 2006. Will Shrek 2 live up to the original, or will it be a dissapointment like most sequels?"

please thank large corporations for mindless crap that entertains the trash in the trailor parks. "hey bubba back to the future II is on again, he yuk hehhe". please read a book, i find the imagination to be more creative by reading a book. if a movie is made after a book just remember that you have your own thoughts and they just might be different than the director of a movie

You're right. Shrek was terrible. It was a kids movie, without much to offer anyone over the age of 9. Anyone who didn't have the whole plot figured out after the first 30 seconds has never read a fairy tale before. Lets see... ugly guy is reading story about princess and hero living happily ever after, says "Yeah, like that'll ever happen". Hmmm... what are the odds he'll get the princess in the end? Shrek got its laughs from a bunch of trite, topical humor that's already pretty dated, and is just going to get worse. If you don't know why the princess is moving in slow motion while the camera rotates around her, or why Shrek is doing all those strange things while he's fighting those knights, it's just not that funny.

Monsters Inc. is a classic. I'll be showing it to my grandkids 15 years from now. I doubt I'll even be able to find Shrek.

Hello spelling troll. If you are an American then substitute the s for a v. If you still fail then get a new dictionary.

From dictionary.com (American spelling but same meaning):
    incentivize
To offer incentives or an incentive to; motivate: "This bill will help incentivize everybody to solve that part of the problem" (Richard A. Gephardt)

The meaning of incentivise and motivate are different (subtle but different) so take it as a guide. I suggest you read a little more, absorb some more literary influences, maybe broaden your horizons a little.

    Bye.

...what the critics say? Or perhaps that should be, I don't care what the critics say. I can make up my own mind about whether or not I think that a movie is good or not. Most of the time, I agree with the RT rating, but not always. And a bad review isn't going to keep me from seeing a movie.

I thought that The Matrix sequel was a good movie, in two parts. It didn't end the way that wanted it to, but then again, I didn't make the movie. Yeah, for the most part, the reviewers didn't like it. Apparently, for the most part, the /. crowd didn't like it. But I did. What does that mean? Diddly squat, I guess. Well, except that it just reinforces my point. And if you don't like the movie? Well, that's OK...unlike a reviewer (or a self-righteous reader of this blog), I'm not going to try to change your mind.
