I think that Red Hat is an inappropriate distribution to use for something whose purpose is to create music. The best choice in this matter is in fact OpenBSD, because security should be paramount in any application of computer science to a non-related field. This is because we as computer scientists need to offer the best we have available to other fields.
The product will fail just like most of the linsux that have released already. It just gives the the losers something to masterbate to.
