Epson Creates Tiny Flying Robot

xyote writes "As reported by the Inquirer. More info on Epson's website with a nice picture with explanatory labels and all. It weighs a little over 10g, uses an 'ultra-thin ultrasonic' motor and Bluetooth for remote control." Epson is using the robot to showcase their micromechatronics technology, and by exhibiting it, they hope to discover and test problems with using robots in three dimensions.

It's only a matter of time before the terrorists are using tiny flying robots with tiny bombs. So what's the solution?

Why, a S.W.A.T. team, of course.

    What's the next step?

Sierra will have to put out a new version of their SWAT game...

Valve will have to give fly swatters to the counter-terrorists

The CIA will develop a partnership with the makers of the insect repellent "OFF!"

All mosquito nets and window screens will have to be replaced with Faraday cages.

And with all the new anti-flying-robot security, the West Nile Virus will be completely extinguished.

    See? Think positive!
