New X Roadmap from Jim Gettys

A reader points to a roadmap on freedesktop.org that provides a good summary of what is out there for *nix desktops, with emphasis on X but also covering some other areas.

    His name is Richard M. Stallman, say it like Stalin, because they basically believe in the same idea that people shouldn't have any real freedoms unless it benefits "everybody".

    In short, Stallman is another filthy commie.

    I've heard that renouncing US citizenship can be a bitch, but no-one has been able to tell me the specifics. Anyone want to fill in?

    I've have had it just about up to my neck with where this country is heading under current, and most likely next, administration and I'm leaving for Europe.

    It's all about choice.

    What people want is a version of X without the unnecessary network transparency. You may need it but most poeple do not. The attitude you show will only makes people hate X even more.
