Wardriver Charged with Theft of Communications
BiggsTheCat writes "A number of news sources are reporting that a Toronto man is the first to be charged with "theft of communications" (Canadian Criminal Code S. 342.1) for downloading child pornography using someone else's residential wireless network. The "War Driver" was caught naked from the waist down driving the wrong way down a one-way street, with a laptop in hand. The Edmonton Sun warns that 'War Driving ... is becoming more and more common among perverts trying to avoid online detection'. Yeah."
He's not a "real" computer user either, because he doesn't sit around at /. posting about how people aren't "real" something-or-others because they do bad things. If that's not what you do, you're a "fake" computer user. He's not a "real" Canadian either, because Canadians DON'T DO that sort of thing, they ONLY sit around and drink beer and watch hockey.
Yes he's a wardriver, he just has an incredibly awful reason for doing it.
You Sir are a genius : you manage to tack on a completely unrelated story a lame Mac/PC flamebait. Bravo ...

That fuck should be butchered to death. Cut the fucker's head off, eat his brain and boil in bones into gelatin, then eat the gelatin as well.
In our modern world, we are raping the Earth. She will likely perish before too long, leaving us very badly off.
Tribal cultures are smart---even if you disagree with them.
"Property" is the reason we can destroy the Earth. Once you decide that you "own" some land, you can dump chemicals on it (which will spread to land that isn't yours), kill plants on it (which interferes with the ecosystem), detonate nuclear explosives on it. Now, an ordinary civilian or small business probably wouldn't get away with these things in the USA, but what about governments and large business with property in third-world nations?
Yeah and some people who own open markets give away free apples. Why should I assume that taking one every now and then is not OK? Afterall they didn't secure the apples within the store.... be serious.
