FatWallet To Sue Best Buy Over DMCA Threat

jkeyes writes "Online deal site FatWallet announced today that they will be suing Best Buy and other companies that sent them DMCA takedown notices. They are seeking a declaration from the court stating that Best Buy and other companies' demands were an abuse of the DMCA, and also violate the 1st Amendment." We covered Best Buy's original DMCA invocation a few days back.

    The famous sharereactor site , a site dedicated to ED2K-links for use with peer-to-peer programs such as mlDonkey, is to be closed.

    Quoting the ambitioned but hardly competent Simon Moon from SR:
    "Unfortunately, as all of you know, my limited PHP and MySQL knowledge caused the site as well as the forums to be barely usable for a long time. My investments of more than 4000 EURO bit not improve anything as I have been ripped of by a Cambodian hosting service. The money came from donations from the Sharereactor-community, so it is not really that bad for me."
