Idlelo: First African Conference on the Digital Commons, in almost-the-southern-tip-of-Africa Cape Town from 11-15 Jan 04, has attracted a strong lineup of African OSS advocates, as well as international OSS and IPR figures like Richard Stallman (FSF), Loic Dachary (FSF France), Rishab Ghosh (Infonomics), Wendy Seltzer (EFF) and Dimo Calovski (UNCTAD). Could this be the turning point for a continent that least needs to be locked into paying inflated license fees to US corporations ? The conference is co-hosted by African OSS lobby group FOSSFA and the University of the Western Cape."

I spend many hours of programming to make DOS. Then I spend many dollars my make my own company. It took a lot of time and money to make Microsoft as big as it is today. And finally I'm rich. And I still make a lot of money with my software. But suddenly, some prick from Finland starts this own free OS. And from then on, the whole world start to mumble about security! It's NOT FAIR. You must buy my software NOW! AND THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH A TELETUBBIE WALLPAPER!! And stop making virusses!! I hate virusses on my computer! It's not FAIR!! You all buy my software NOW, OR SCO WILL SUE YOUR ASS!!!
