Thoughts on the New Crop of Ogg Aware Players?
Steve Andre' asks: " Given the approaching season, I'm wondering if many have used and have opinions about the new Ogg Vorbis capable portable players out there. What I'd like to find is at least a CD/MP3/Ogg capable player which sounds good and doesn't do 'odd' things. What's it like out there? Don't go there, I just spent the last six hours cleaning out a windows 2000 machine. 31 virus, 500 connections to a Japanese bank, key loggers, and reconfiguring all those "helpful" tools Microsoft is so nice to give us. GPL'ed tools helped detect the virus, protect the target, and clean the system (though, it was an M$ update which replaced the infected files and saved our ass cuz there's no 2000 cd). 2000 is slower then linux, 2000 is harder to manage, harder to maintain and harder to clean after a compromise...
What are you suppose to do if you find something like this, contact the bank and let them know? What about the cops?

I wish there was a way for me, as a Christian, as a human being, to sit down with some of you and have a pleasant, civil discussion without bitterness or sarcasm. I got this one in M2. It's not a repost! Parent (grandparent, now) has an earlier timestamp than the AC copy. The big tipoff is when the AC includes the original's .sig. Duh!
